NRC TAMPER PROOF SEALS FOR FRIDAY SEPT 15, 2006 NRC/STATE/IPEC SPLIT SAMPLING FOR HUDSON RIVER FISH Mark:

Per our phone call today (Thursday September 14, 2006) we will be meeting with the State of CT fish sample representative tomorrow at approximately 0715-0730 am at the NEM Building.

As discussed, we would like to meet you, or one of the selected IPEC resident NRC representatives, at the NEM Building to allow the NRC to hand deliver the NRC Chain of Custody Tamper Proof Seals for the State representative to place on the NRC split sample fish portions that will be collected on Friday September 15, 2006.

Because it is possible for the boat trip to extend beyond 4 pm, it is anticipated the State may end up taking their samples directly from the boat to their lab, and giving the NRC fish samples (with the NRC Tamper Proof Seals attached by the State sampler) to the NEM group, so the NRC portion of the fish sample set can be refrigerated over the weekend at the NEM lab, pending ship out to the NRC Counting lab.
