- Tom, Entergy performed calculations of assumed copper surface area in containment that could be susceptible to containment spray impact.
4 50-3c 2 For ANO-2, the primary contributors to the copper area of 58, 900 sq ft is HVAC cooler coils RCP motor coolers Polar crane trolley 54, 700 sq ft 3300 sq ft 130 sq ft For ANO-1, similar quantities of copper surface areas are likely available, however, the copper cooling coils are not in the path of containment spray and are not assumed to interact for post accident H2 generation. A similar copper content is also present in the ANO-1 polar crane to ANO-2, however, a conservative value of 500 sq ft was chosen. This was the only identified contributor to copper spray impact.
