Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Docket Number 50-346, License Number NPF-3 Readiness for 95001 Supplemental Inspection; EA-09-283 On October 29, 2010, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) documented the results of a supplemental inspection completed pursuant to NRC Inspection Procedure 95001 at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS). This inspection was conducted because of a White finding previously issued to FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) involving the failure to appropriately implement the emergency classification and action level scheme during an event in the switchyard on June 25, 2009, at the DBNPS. This inspe6tion did not close the White finding and required a further inspection to follow completion of the actions to address the identified concerns regarding the extent of cause review and the developed corrective actions.

This letter provides notification that the actions to address the identified concerns have been completed and are ready for NRC follow-up inspection.
