State Route 2 Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449 419-321-7676 Response to NRC Inspection Report 05000346/2021091, EA-21-176 The purpose of this letter is to confirm the position the Energy Harbor Nuclear Corporation (Energy Harbor) is taking in response to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Inspection Report 05000346/2021091 dated December 16, 2021. This report documents a finding involving the Emergency Diesel Generator Field Flash Selector Switch that has preliminarily been determined to be of greater than Green significance.
I verbally notified you on December 21, 2021, that Energy Harbor requests a Regulatory Conference be scheduled to provide additional information that may be used during the determination of significance by the NRC. Energy Harbor will provide the requested supporting documentation at least one week prior to the conference.
