(APAMS) Accession Number ML091550028], as supplemented by letter dated,,;.D ecember 22, .t:2009 (ADAMS Accession Number ML093630340), the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating-Company (FENOC) submitted a license amendment request to exclude the source range neutron flux instrument channel preamplifier from the CHANNEL CALIBRATION requirements of Technical Specification (TS) 3.3.9, "Source Range Neutron Flux," and TS 3.9.2, "Nuclear Instrumentation," for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1. FENOC hereby withdraws this license amendment request.
