SUBJECI: ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE During the period of February 29 through May 4,1988, the NRC performed inspections at the Braidwood Nuclear Station to review the status of your Equipment Qualification Program and to evaluate the status of your compliance with 10 CFR 50.49. As a result of these 1,:spections, significant deficiencies were identified and are described as potentially enforceable / unresolved items in inspection reports 50-456/88005(DRS); 50-457/88006(DRS) dated May 27, 198 These items have since been determined by the NRC to be violations of 10 CFR 50.4 The NRC is considering these violations for appropriate enforcement action and has scheduled an enforcement conference with you for August 11, 1988, at 9:00 a.m. (CDT) in the Region III office to discuss the violations.
