MOTOR-OPERATED VALVE INSPECTION AT LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, REPORT NOS. 50-352/93-28 AND 50-353/93-28 This letter refers to the announced inspection conducted by Mr. Thomas J. Kenny, Ms. Beth Korona. and Mr. Mark Holbrook on November 15-19, 1993, at the Limerick Generating Station, to address the status of improvement items discussed in Table 1 of NRC The results ' f this inspection were Inspection Report Nos. 50-352/92-80 and 50-353/92-80.
o discussed with Mr. David R. Helwig, Vice President Limerick Generating Station, on November 22,1993.
The inspectors reviewed procedures, representative records, interviewed personnel,'and-overall observed areas important to public health and safety. The inspection focused on the
motor-operated valve (MOV) program and the implementation of program enhancements
,
developed in response to previous NRC team inspections in this area. This program implementation inspection was used to determine progress toward the scheduled program completion date and to assure satisfactory implementation of your commitments to regulatory requirements. The inspectors noted substantial improvements to your GL 89-10 program as well as improved communications betiveen the on and off site engineering departments.
