NRC EXAMINATION REPORT NOS. 50-327/98-301 AND 50-328/98-301
Dear Mr. Zeringue:
On June 1 - 2. 1998, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) administered operating examinations to three employees of your company who had applied for-licenses to operate the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2.
At the conclusion of the examination, the examiners discussed the preliminary
~ findings with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

The written examination was administered by your staff on June 3.1998, to five employees of your company who had applied for _ licenses to operate the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. Units 1 and 2.
The answer sheets were received
l June 10, 1998, and we were advised that you had no post-examination comments.
L Your remediation efforts since the time of the previous exam were satisfactory. The Senior Reactor Operator Upgrade (SRO-U) candidates were
'well prepared for their operating test. All SRO-U and all Reactor Operator
.
-(RO)~ candidates passed the written examination.
A Simulation Facility Report is included in this report as Enclosure 2.

copy of the written examination questions and answer key was retained by your L
facility following administration and is included as Enclosure 3.
Post-L.
examination evaluation on weaknesses for the written examination were-l submitted by your facility on June 10. 1998, and are included as Enclosure 4.
