Inspection on November 27 - December 1, 197o (Report Nos. 50-317/78-37; 50-318/78-33)
Areas Inspected:
Facility inspection to provide fire protection review team from Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation with direct knowledge of arrangement of safety related equipment, fire hazards, and fire prutection equipment.
Observation of work activities in progress, completed work and plant status in several areas of the plant.
The inspection involved 32 inspection-hours on site by one regional based inspector.
Results:
No items of noncompliance were identified.

4.
Exit Interview The inspector and the NRR fire prevention / protection survey team met with licensee representatives (listed in Details, Paragraph 1)
at the conclusion of the inspection en December 1,1978.
The NRR review team summarized the scope and findings of the inspection followed by a discussion with the licensee of approximately 20
" team positions" which were developed as a part of the November 27 - December 1,1978 inspection, pertaining to modifications, additions, and/or changes necessary to upgrade the licensee's fire prevention / protection program.
~ A formal report is to be issued by the NRR staff, documenting licensee commitments and status of staff positions developed during this inspection.
