Inspection 50-309/82-01 This refers to your letter dated May 25, 1982, in response to our letter dated April 23, 1982.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented in your letter. Based on a June 9,1982 meeting between Mr. P. Swetland of this of-fice and Messrs. J. Garrity and J. Hebert of your staff, we understand that year Installation / Fabrication Instruction Procedure (0-01-3) was revised to require doc-umentation of the Quality Assurance Department review. An independent engineer's review of installation instructions had already been a requirement of this proce-dure.
In addition, your Design Change Alteration Procedure (0-01-1) was revised to require similar independent review of revisions to design change documents.
These actions will be reviewed during a future inspection of your licensed program.
