Unresolved Items No unresolved items were disclosed during this inspection.
4.
Administrative Controls a.
Review of administrative controls was confined to two areas:
(1)
annual quality assurance audit of Appendix B Technical Speci-fication requirements and implementation; (2) review of procedures for monitoring of plant discharge chemical parameters.
b.
Inspection disclosed that the annual audit for 1978, Audit No.
78-10, was conducted during the period October 23 to November 8, 1978.
The audit report was not yet completed.
The subject audit will be reviewed during a subsequent inspectio ~4 RII Rpt. Nos. 50-259/78-28, 50-260/78-31 and 50-296/78-29 I-2 Co Procedures reviewed included those for monitoring pH of spent demineralizer regenerants (TS-2.1.1), chlorine residual in the ARCW system discharge (TS-2.2.2).
Determination of free and total residual chlorine and analytical procedures for chlorides, sodium, sulfates, ammonia, and total dissolved solids discharged to the reservoir were also reviewed.
Inspection disclosed that all procedures reviewed appeared consistent with procedural require-ments defined by Appendix B Technical Specification 5.5.
There were no questions regarding this item.
5.
Chemical Dischar e Limitations The inspector reviewed data on chemical discharge limits, viz.,
chlorine residual and pH, defined by Appendix B Technical Specifica-tions 2.2 '
and 2.2.2, respectively, for the period July 1977 through October 31, 1978.
Inspection disclosed that all monitoring results reviewed were within the limits assigned by the above referenced specifications.

On-Site Meteorolo ical Measurements Inspection included review of the on-site meteorological monitoring requirements defined by Appendix B Technical Specification 3.3.
Inspection disclosed that monitoring of all meteorological parameters at the assigned elevations appeared to be consistent with Technical Specification requirements and those of Regulatory Guides 1.21, 1.23, and Section 2.3.7 of the FSAR.
The inspector also reviewed meteoro-logical procedures and the on-site meteorological instrument calibration and maintenance procedures and logs.
There were no questions regarding this item.
7.
Hazardous Material Stora e
The inspector -toured specific areas of the plant and plant site to assess storage and handling of hazardous oils, lubricants and reagents listed in Appendix B Technical Specification 3.1.
The materials included insulating, diesel and lubricating oils, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, chlorine and liquid nitrogen.
Inspection disclosed no apparent storage or handling problems.
There were no questions regarding this item.
8, Review of Event Re orts The inspector reviewed licensee nonradiological environmental event reports and the corrective actions implemented.
