GINNA REACTOR OPERATOR INITIALAND SENIOR REACTOR OPERATOR UPGRADE EXAMINATIONREPORT NO. 50-244/98-301 (OL)
Dear Mr. Mecredy:
This report addresses the findings of the Reactor Operator (RO) licensing and Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) upgrade operating examination, conducted by NRC examiners, during the week of October 19-23, 1998, at the Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
The report also addresses the results of inspections performed during the week of October 5-9, 1998.
Our activities addressed areas important to public health and safety and the licensing examination was developed and administered under the guidelines of the Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors (NUREG-1021, Interim Revision 8) ~
Based on the results, all three RO and the SRO upgrade applicants passed all portions of the examination.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
