Enclosed with this letter is a report describing the RGGE program to upgrade the qualification of safety related splices inside containment at the Ginna Nuclear Plant.This program has consisted of a systematic review of the qualification of splices existing in the original plant configuration, a review of circuit safety functions under design basis event environments, and the design and construction of replacement splices where these were found necessary.
