out of the power plant site. The arrangement was under Hittmann Proposal R-352, Revision 1, October 10, 1975.
l The reactor licensee had a copy of the Hittmann Nuclear and Development Corporation Maryland (agreement state) license to possess radioactive materials. The shipment (originating in New Jersey which is a non-Agreement State) was stated to be under 10 CFR 150.20 " Recognition of Agreement State Licenses" which in part 10 CFR 150.20(b) requires that the agreement state licensees shall notify the Director of NRC Regional Office I prior to engaging in each activitiy in non-agreement states in Region I.
The power plant licensee was unable to show that such notice was provided. A subsequent scarch of Region I records indicated that Hittmann Nuclear and Development Corporation had not com-plied with the requirements of 10 CFR 150.20(b).
