Inspection Summarv Inspection on March 26-30, 1979, (Report No. 50-155/79-05)

Areas Inspected: Unannounced routine inspection regarding imple-mentation of 10 CFR 73.55 and 73.70 requirements.

Specifically, the inspection covered the following areas: security plan, security organization, physical barriers - (protected and vital), lighting, access controls - (identification, authorization, badging, search, escorting and vital areas), alarm stations, detection aids, assessment aids, communications, testing and maintenance, compensatory measures, power supply, response, locks, keys and combinations, and records and'

reports. The inspection involved 74 hours8.564815e-4 days <br />0.0206 hours <br />1.223545e-4 weeks <br />2.8157e-5 months <br /> onsite by two NRC inspec-tors.

Results: Of the nineteen areas inspected, four items of noncompliance were identified relative to response (Paragraph 3); lighting (Paragraph 4); access control - vital areas (Paragraph 5); and access control - search (Paragraph 6).

Three items are infractions and one is a deficiency.

Two unresolved items were identified during this inspection which will be transmitted to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for their consideration. The item of noncompliance and the identified security concern, noted during the previous inspection were found to have been satisfactorily corrected and are considered closed.
