Letter dated March 6, 2015, from Mr. Anton Vegel (NRC) to Mr. Rafael Flores (CPNPP),

transmitting NRC Inspection Report 2014404 (ML15065A211)

Dear Mr. Haire:

The reference letter transmitted NRC Inspection Report 05000445/2014404 and 05000446/2014404, which provided the results of a security baseline inspection conducted during the week of August 25, 2014 at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP). The letter identified an apparent violation that is being considered for escalated enforcement. The letter also provided Luminant Generation Company LLC (Luminant Power) the opportunity to either: 1) attend a Regulatory Conference; or 2) submit Luminant Power's position on the finding to the NRC in writing within 30 days of the receipt of the letter.

Luminant Power has elected to submit our position on the finding in writing. Mr. Robert Slough of CPNPP Regulatory Affairs informed Mr. Mark Haire of the NRC of this decision by phone on March 11, 2015.

This communication contains no new licensing basis commitments regarding Comanche Peak Units 1 and 2 or the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation.
