Dear Sir or Madam:

On March 12, 2012, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees and holders of construction permits in active or deferred status. Enclosure 1 of Reference 1 contains specific Requested Actions, Requested Information, and Required Responses associated with Recommendation 2.1, Seismic Evaluations. Reference 1 requires a "60-day response" in which each addressee must submit: (1) its intent to follow the developed guidance, or (2) an alternative approach including acceptance criteria. In accordance with References 1 and 2, and 10CFR50.4(a), the 60-day responses are due to the NRC by April 29, 2013.

Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) intends to respond to Enclosure 1 of NRC letter (Reference 1), Request for Information Pursuantto Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 50.54(f) Regarding Recommendations 2.1, 2.3 and 9.3, of the Near-Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichiAccident, dated March 12, t4'DD/
