CORRECTIVE ACTIO_N:

The third from bottom primary coil on No. 23 CFCU was isolated from the renainder of the coils by installing a blank flange insert between the service water inlet and outlet flanges.

As per engi-neering analysis, it is possible to isolate an individual cooler.'.

this manner while retaining acceptable efficiency of the cooler.

This cooler will be replaced during a future outage; however, no supplemen-tary report will be issued.

No. 23 CFCU was tested satisfactorily and returned to service.
