ýEqY'T .r-- ...... .Modify Plant Issue Page 2 of 3 Work on the excavation of the ASW piping adjacexnt to the SSF is on hold today for the scheduled KHU-2 trainmaintenaunce,(quarterly PMs). Some excavation was done yesterday however".the areaaround the existing ASW piping has not been removed which keeps -the licensee from entering the section of the critical plan which requires comp measures to be implemented.
Excavation is slated to start up tomorrow (Friday) with tie-in work to start next week (this work will inop the. SSF ASW pump for all three units and the LCO. will be entered for this condition).
The RI's are following the work under 1R12 (Maintenance Effectiveness) and the risk management
/ critical plan implementation under 1R13 (Risk Management).

(4) issue: Tied to the removal of the SSF from service due to the ASW leak and deficiencies in what equipment was protected during that time. Awaiting risk values from General office to process ands draft up issue in terms of SDP color.; Licensee understands the issue and wis working with the GO to get us what we need toprocess.
