238 The above license authorizes our testing of a l'u fueled generator built by I). W.
1)ouglas I. abs of Iliebland, Washington. This application requests changing the max-imum surface radiation level from 100 mrem /hr. to 500 mrem /hr.
No generator has yet been received by.Tledtronic, Inc. because none have yet been available. Two generators are now available; however, one has a surface radiation level of 4f>0 mrem /hr. and the second 150 mrem /hr.
Later generators received under this license will have much lower ra liation levels.
These p,enerators will be used in bench electrical tests and will be shielded by lead brieks whenever possible.
