DPR-24 and DPR-27 for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 a nd 2 (Point Beach),

respectively, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). NextEra submitted the application pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 54, Requirements for Renewal of Operating Licenses for Nuclear Power Plants, for su bsequent license renewal.

The NRC staff determined that the application was complete and acceptable for docketing as communicated by email dated January 8, 2021 (ADAMS Accession No. ML21012A365) and by letter dated January 15, 2021 (ADAMS Accession No. ML21006A417), and noticed in the Federal Register on January 22, 2021 (86 FR 6684).

The NRC staff has reviewed the Point Beach Subsequent License R enewal Application (SLRA) and has developed the enclosed Safety Evaluation Related to th e Subsequent License B. Coffey Renewal of Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, Revision 1 hereinafter referred to as the Safety Evaluation (SE). The SE reflects the status of the NRC staffs safety review of the SLRA, as supplemented, through January 6, 2022. Revision 1 of the SE corrects errors that were inadvertently introduced into the SE during its final processin g.
