MEMORANDUM AND ORDER On September 3, 1985, the Licensing Board issued its ,

initial decision authorizing the Director ofl.lN, clear Reactor

Regulation to issue a license amendment for the Ucrth Anna nuclear facility, Units 1 and 2, to permit the receipt and storage of 500 spent fuel assemblies from the Surry Power

' Station. LBP-85-34, 22 NRC __. No appeals from the Board's decision have been filed. We have therefore conducted our customary sua sponte examination of the initial decision and relevant portions of the underlying record. That examination has disclosdd no error warranting corrective action with regard to the Board's ultimate determination in
