NRC ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR REVIEW 0F ENFORCEMENT POLICY TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETINGS The Nuclear Regulatory Comission's Ad Hoc Advisory Comittee for Review of Enforcement Policy will hold public meetings on April 10-11 and April 30-May 1 in Bethesda, Maryland, that are related to the committee's in-depth study of the effectiveness of the NRC's current enforcement program.
The meetings will be held in Room P-118 of the Phillips Building, 7920 Norfolk Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. .
On April 10-11, the committee will receive coments on the NRC's enforcement policy from representatives of the Edison Electric Institute, the Atomic Industrial Forum, the Washington, D.C., law finn of Bishop, Liberman, Purcell and Reynolds and the Government Accountability Project.
On April 30, representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency will provide a description of the policies and practices of EPA's enforcement programs. That same day, and again on May 1, the committee will discuss public coments received on the NRC enforcement policy and begin the
! development of a report with recomendations to the Comission.
