JOINT STATUS REPORT Pursuant to the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions June 4, 2020 Order, Holtec International, Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC, Entergy Nuclear Generation Company (now known as Holtec Pilgrim, LLC) and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.
(Applicants) and the Petitioner, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Commonwealth or Massachusetts), provide the following status report on the status of their efforts to finalize a settlement agreement. The Holtec Applicants and the Commonwealth have made additional progress toward finalizing a settlement agreement since June 4, 2020, and are pleased to report that, subject to final approvals, they have reached an agreement in principle on the terms of a settlement agreement, which, if approved and executed, will result in the Commonwealth withdrawing its pending Petition.
