M W.CN OF 'fHR QPJEE As shown on the marksd-up Technical Specifications (75) pages in Attactamt 2, PSE&G regnests that TS 3.11.2.6, ACTION b, be revised to agrue with the i corruur.=dirg ACUCH b of TS 3.3.7.11 ard ACTIN 124 of Table 3.3.7.11-3.

In those TS, tif inoperable monitoring equipment that is beirq ungsated for by grab sanplirq is not restored to OPERABG status within 30 days, an explanation is required in the next Semi-annual PMiological Effluent Release Repart; however, the discharges are wt restricted to 30 days. Carrently,

However, in accordance with a suteequent revision to the NURa3 0473 guidance, the liCGS Facility Operatirg 11 cense was modifjed, in Amerdment 2, to Ited as it now exists in all but is 3.11.2.6. ACTION b. 7his one specificaticn was' overlooked when the change in wordity was requested by PSFAG. As described in the NRC's Safety Evaluation supportirg that amendment, the prrrrrM wordirg is consistent with the intent of, ard follows closely the staff's tuvised 1EIS guidance provided in NURDG 0473, Revision 2. Since an alternate method is available to a=ma the noasurvd pnranter when th; primary mothed its unavailable, the intent of the TS is satisfied. This change will elimimte conflicting requirements for the came equipnent ard make all similar TS samplirg requirements consistant.
