On November 20. 1995, Virginia Electric and Power Company requested j amendments, in the form of a change to the Technical Specifications, to Facility  !

Operating License Nos. NPF-4 and NPF-7 for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2.  !

l The proposed Technical Specifications change will permit the use of 10 CFR 50 Appendix J, Option B, Performance-Based Containment Leakage Rate Testing.

In a telephone conference call on January 19,1996, the Staff requested editorial changes to the proposed Techni::al Specification. These editorial changes clarify the use of exemptions and specify the approval date of the referenced Regulatory Guide.

These editorial changes do not change the intent of our initial proposed changes or alter the initial significant hazards consideration determination as defined in 10 CFR 50.92. Therefore, the significant hazards consideration determination provide in our November 20,1995 submittal remains valid. The revised Technical Specifications pages are provided for Units 1 and 2 in Attachments 1 and 2, respectively.
