LaSalle Commitment Audit (TAC Nos. MF4531 and MF4532)

Lisa, In accordance with LIC-105, Managing Regulatory Commitments Made by Licensees to the NRC, Revision 5 (ADAMS Accession No. ML13193A358), NRR/DORL project managers are expected to periodically perform an audit of the licensees commitment management program. The last audit at LaSalle was completed on December 21, 2011 (ADAMS Accession No. ML113350347).

I am starting the preparation for the LaSalle audit. Most of the initial activities (audit sample selection, review of program) will be done at my office and some portion of the audit may be done on site (e.g., review of documentation associated with implementation of a closed commitment).

To facilitate the initial stage of the audit, please provide the following information by September 8, 2014:

1. Copy of the commitment management procedure or program documents used at LaSalle and copies of evaluation documentation related to changes to the program/procedure since the last audit.

2. List of all open regulatory commitments.

3. List of all commitments that have been initiated or closed in the last 3 years.

4. List of commitments that have been changed (i.e., modified or deleted) for the last 3 years that were reported or will be reported to the NRC.

5. List of commitments that have been changed (i.e., modified or deleted) for the last 3 years that were evaluated as not needing to be reported to the NRC.

Note: For each commitment, as a minimum, the lists should include the tracking number and a description of the actual commitment.
