Dear Mr. Scalice:

On November 24, 2003; November 26, 2003; and December 1, 2003; the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff participated in conference calls with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) regarding the steam generator (SG) tube inspection activities at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Unit 2, during the fall 2003 refueling outage. Participation in the conference calls was strictly voluntary. The conference calls occurred after the majority of the tubes had been inspected, but before the SG inspection activities were completed. Summaries of the conference calls are provided in Enclosure 1. Copies of TVA responses to NRC staffs written questions are provided in Enclosure 2.
