NORTH' ANNA POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 BAplOLOGICAL EFFLUENT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGES RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 89-01 Pursuant to 10CFR50.90, the Virginia Electric and: Power Company requests  ;

amendments, in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications, to Operating i' License Nos. NPF-4 and 7 for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2, respectively.

-The proposed changes are based on NRC Generic Letter 89 01 dated January 31, 1989. These changes relocate the Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications to  ;

the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) or the Process Control Program (PCP),  ;

as appropriate (Attachments 5 and 6).

This request has been reviewed by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating  !

Committee. It has been determined that this request does not involve any unreviewed I safety questions as defined in 10CFR50.59 or a significant' hazards consideration as

defined in 10CFR50.92. The basis for the determination that no significant hazard consideration is involved is presented in Attachment 4,. In accordance with 10CFR50.91(a) and the guidance provided in Generic Letter 89 01. The MERITS Technical Specifications were developed with the assumption that these changes l would be made, therefore no MERITS change is attached.
