Purpose:

The purpose of the open portion of public meeting is to provide an explanation of the staff practice in common cause failure (CCF) event analysis as currently employed in probabilistic risk assessment. During the closed portion of the meeting NRC/PWROG will discuss PWROG peer review comments and recommendations on the categorization of plant-specific CCF events and other plant-specific component data.
