PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

Title:

Coastal SHAC-F Public Workshop Date(s) and Time(s): March 02, 2020, 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM Location: Webinar Category: This is a Open meeting. Public participation is actively sought for this meeting to fully engage the public in a discussion of regulatory issues.

Purpose:

Staff from the NRC Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES), RES contractors from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and PNNL subcontractor Coppersmith Consulting, Inc (CCI) will present ideas for adapting the Senior Seismic Hazard Assessment (SSHAC) process to coastal flooding probabilistic flood hazard assessment (PFHA). Feedback on these ideas from interested stakeholders is sought.
