Title:

Public Meeting to Provide Updates on NRCs Future Focused Research Project on Regulatory Viability of Digital Twins and to Discuss Regulatory Considerations and Opportunities for Digital Twins in Nuclear Reactor Applications Date(s) and Time(s): March 1, 2022, 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM ET Location: Teleconference Category: This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for Nuclear Regulatory Commission NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on regulatory aspects of digital twins in nuclear applications.

Purpose:

The NRC staff is hosting a meeting to provide an opportunity for non-governmental organizations and other external stakeholders to exchange information with the NRC staff regarding applications of enabling technologies for digital twins for advanced reactors and plant modernization. The NRC staff and representatives from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and the Department of Energy (DOE)

Advanced Research Projects - Agency (ARPA-E) will discuss research efforts being undertaken within each organization.
