Title:

Extremely Low Probability of Rupture (xLPR) Probabilistic Fracture Mechanics Code User Experience Webinar Date(s) and Time(s): August 18, 2021, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM EDT Location: Teleconference Category: This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session.

The purpose of this meeting is for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The NRC Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES) staff, in cooperation with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), is hosting a public workshop to engage current and future users of the xLPR software. The workshop will provide information on current NRC and EPRI initiatives and case studies using the xLPR software. Plans to establish a user group will also be discussed.
