),--- reor fo Ocoe25P-Indian Point Energy Center Daily Status Report October 25, 2005 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been online 325 days.
Indian Point Unit 3 isoperating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 21 days.
Entergy is continuing the investigation into a leak in the IP2 spent fuel pool. Experts in hydrology and ground water modeling have been hired to assist in the Investigation.
The NRC is conducting a special inspection on the issue, which began on September 22.
V NRC Sets Public Meeting on New Siren Orders The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold a public meeting at Crystal Bay on November 16, 2005 from 7 to 10 pm. The meeting is being held to discuss the installation of backup power for the emergency notification system, as specified in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, and to discuss corrective actions for the siren system for Indian Point. A copy of the NRC notice can be found on the agency's web site at http://www.nrc.gov/ <http:/lwww.nrc.gov/>

Entergy Nuclear Northeast provides customized outreach education programs for schools, youth groups, and civic organizations. The topics we cover include Emergency Planning, Understanding Radiation, Nuclear Fuel and a general overview of the operations of Indian Point Energy Center.
