"Issuance of Conforming Amendments", dated January 8,2009, involving Clinton Power Station, Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, and Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 In the Reference 1 letters, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Orders approving the transfer of the above operating licenses from AmerGen Energy Company, LLC to Exelon Generation Company, LLC. The license transfers were completed on January 8,2009.
U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission January 9, 2009 Page 2 In the Reference 2 letter, the NRC issued conforming amendments associated with these license transfers; the conforming amendments reflect the actual transfer of the operating licenses for these units to Exelon Generation Company, LLC.
Prior to the license transfers, AmerGen Energy Company, LLC made docketed submittals to the NRC that requested specific licensing actions, such as license amendment requests, relief requests, exemption requests, etc. Furthermore, in the application for the license transfers, Exelon Generation Company, LLC stated that upon transfer of the licenses, Exelon Generation Company, LLC would assume all current regulatory commitments made for these units.
Accordingly, Exelon Generation Company, LLC hereby adopts and endorses those docketed requests currently before the NRC for review and approval. Exelon Generation Company, LLC requests that the NRC continue to process those pending actions on the schedules previously requested by AmerGen Energy Company, LLC.
There are no new commitments or changes to existing commitments being made in this letter.
