Licensee Event Report 50-259/2010-003 On December 22, 2010, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) submitted the subject Licensee Event Report (LER) providing details of a failure of a low pressure coolant injection flow control valve and the resulting failure to meet the requirements of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Unit 1 Technical Specification 3.5.1 concerning low pressure coolant injection operability.

The LER included an expected submittal date of March 22, 2011 for a supplemental report.

In order to include results of the root cause analysis, corrective actions, and 10 CFR Part 21 reporting information, TVA now expects to submit a revised LER by April 15, 2011.
