RE: Palisades Nuclear Plant - July 19th, 2012 NRC-PRB Meeting Mr. Saporito, This is to acknowledge that you have withdrawn your request to meet with the NRC Petition Review Board (PRB) on July 19th, 2012 in connection with an Enforcement Petition filed under 10 C.F.R. 2.206 - related to licensed activities at the Palisades Nuclear Plant. I have already taken the action to cancel this meeting. Since you do not need the second opportunity to address the PRB, we will proceed to issue the final close-out letter to you in accordance with MD 8.11. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you.

After further consideration - and do to other pressing circumstances - I have decided to withdrawal my request to meet with the NRC Petition Review Board (PRB) on July 19th, 2012 in connection with an Enforcement Petition filed under 10 C.F.R. 2.206 - related to licensed activities at the Palisades Nuclear Plant. Additionally, I request that the NRC act to finalize and to close the Enforcement Petition at this time.

Please take any necessary actions to cancel the above-scheduled meeting accordingly. I very much appreciate your assistance in this matter.
