Dear Mr. Grier:

Reference is to my letter PLA-249, dated April 26, 1978.

We have recently decided to take and test additional samples for the purpose of evaluating the subject deficiency. Based upon our recently established time requirements for obtaining, testing and evaluating the test results, we conclude that it will not be possible to submit a definitive report by the date (7/31/78) originally identified.

We therefore submit. for your information a new date, September 29, 1978, by which time we expect to submit the required report.
