Fermi 2 License Renewal Application - Update to Section 1 In Reference 2, DTE Electric Company submitted an application for a renewed operating license for Fermi 2 pursuant to 10 CFR 51 and 10 CFR 54. Subsequent to the submittal, a need to update Section 1.0, "Administrative Information," of the license renewal application (LRA) was identified. The update is to correct the reference to the section number of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 under which the original license was issued. The enclosed document provides the updated Section 1.1.5 on page 1-6 of the LRA.

No new commitments are being made in this submittal.

ENCLOSURE TO NRC-14-0048 Fermi 2 NRC Docket No. 50-341 Operating License No. NPF-43 Fermi 2 License Renewal Application - Update to Section 1.1.5

Fermi 2 License Renewal Application 1.1.5 Class and Period of License Sought The applicant requests renewal of the facility operating license for Fermi 2 (facility operating license Docket Number 50-341, License Number NPF-43) for a period of 20 years. The license was issued under Section 103 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 as amended. License renewal would extend the Fermi 2 facility operating license from midnight, March 20, 2025, to midnight, March 20, 2045.

The facility will be used to generate electricity for distribution to the DTE Electric service area.

This application also applies to renewal of those NRC source materials, special nuclear material, and by-product material licenses that are subsumed or combined with the facility operating license.

1.1.6 Alteration Schedule The applicant does not propose to construct or alter any production or utilization facility in connection with this renewal application.
