This refers to your response dated December 9, 2005 to NRC Inspection Report Nos.05000338, 339/2005004, that was issued on October 28, 2005. Please be informed that we arereviewing your disagreement with some of the conclusions that were identified in the inspection

report. Specifically, you disagree with our conclusions that the issues associated with flood

protection measures and main turbine auto stop interface valve oil leakage contain aspects

relating to the cross-cutting area of problem identification and resolution. Also, you disagree

with the issues associated with breaker 2-QS-P-1B and Solid State Protection System channel

testing containing aspects relating to the cross-cutting area of human performance.

Additionally, you disagree with the minor violation associated with inadequate corrective actions

for the Unit 1 Turbine Driven Auxiliary Feedwater pump. The NRC is reviewing the basis for your disagreement, and upon completion of our review, willadvise you of our results by separate correspondence.In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will beavailable electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the
