This is a 10 CFR 50.72 (b)(2)(xi) report concerning an endangered species: Atlantic Sea Sturgeon. Power and mode before and after are 0% Mode 3. This report is made via Salem Section 5.4.2 of Appendix B,  Environmental Protection Plan to the Operating License for the Salem Generating Station. 
"At approximately 0915 [EDT] a deceased sturgeon, was removed from the Salem Unit 1 Circulating Water System (CWS) Intake trash racks at the Salem Generating Station. The sturgeon was confirmed by a site biological expert to be Atlantic sturgeon which is an
'endangered' species. Atlantic sturgeons are federally listed as 'endangered' species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. Nuclear Environmental Affairs has made a determination that this is a 4 hr report to the NRC under RAL 11.8.2.a.
"A report was made to the National Marine Fisheries at 0954 [EDT] and the NJDEP Division of Fish & Wildlife at 0957, concerning the deceased Atlantic sturgeon by Environmental Licensing."
The licensee has notified the NRC Resident Inspector. 
Notified R1DO (Powell) and Endangered Species Group via email.
