RIS 2017-03 requests licensees to submit, on a voluntary basis, information pertaining to their proposed site-specific operator licensing examination schedules and the estimated number of applicants planning to take operator licensing examinations and the NRC generic fundamentals examinations (GFEs). The NRC stated that this information would help the NRC to more effectively utilize its resources. A response was requested within 30 days of receipt of RIS 2017-03.
