4. Measurements and Annroximations of Total Radioactivity
a. Fission and activation gases (1) These gases, excluding tritium, are collected in a Marinelli type beaker, specially modified for gas sampling, steel comns, of glass vials and counted on a Ge (Li) detector for principal gamma emitters.

(2) Tritium gas is collected using a bubble apparatus and counted by liquid scintillation.

b. Iodines - are collected on a charcoal cartridge filter, and counted on a Ge (Li) detector.
c. Particulates - are collected on tilter paper and counted on a Ge (Li) detector.
d. Liquid ef fluents - are collected in bottles and counted' on a Ge (Li) dete ctor.

Tables 6 and 8 presents the maximum doses computed from the noble gas effluents for each quarter. Tables 7 and 9 present doses resulting from gaseous iodine and particulate effluents. Doses resulting tron liquid iodine and particulates are presented in Table 10 and 11. Tables 12 through 19 present the X/Q and DQ values associated with the dose values presented in Tables 6 through 9.

Based on the information presented above, it is concluded that the doses to individuals are well below th dose objectives or Appendix I to 10CFR50. In addition, population doses within 50 miles of the plant are also very low.
