permanent repair, once the NRC Letter 2130-approves the ASME code case (Code 06-20354 Case N-730). If Code Case N-730 is not approved, Oyster Creek will develop a permanent ASME code repair plan. This permanent ASME code repair could be performed in accordance with BWRVIP-58-A, which has been approved by the NRC, or an alternate ASME code repair plan that would be submitted for prior NRC approval. If it is determined that the repair plan needs prior NRC approval, Oyster Creek will submit the repair plan two years before entering the period of extended operation. After the implementation of an approved permanent roll repair, if there is a leak in a CRD stub tube, Oyster Creek will weld repair any leaking CRD stub tubes during the extended period of operation by implementing a permanent NRC approved ASME Code repair for leaking stub tubes that cannot be made leak tight using a roll expansion method, prior to restarting the plant.
