SESSION #1: PROGRESS REPORT ON DSFM INITIATIVES BIOGRAPHIES Wendy Reed Dr. Wendy Reed is a Chemist in the Renewals and Materials Branch, Division of Spent Fuel Management in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards. She has worked at the U.S. NRC for over 9 years. She holds a BSc (with Honors) and a Ph.D., both in chemistry, from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Donald Chung Donald Chung is a Reliability and Risk Analyst at the US NRC. He has over 30 years of experience working in the nuclear industry. He supported the NRC, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, in risk-informed regulatory decision-making for over 10 years, and currently, he is leading the effort to improve the efficiency of regulatory activities for spent fuel dry storage. Prior to joining the NRC, he held the position of Senior Engineer for SCIENTECH and Johnson Controls. He has a Bachelor of Science in Material Science and a Doctorate in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Maryland. Kristina Banovac Kris Banovac is a Project Manager in the Renewals & Materials Branch, in the Division of Spent Fuel Management (DSFM) at the NRC. In this role, she is responsible for developing guidance and managing reviews of renewal applications for specific licenses and certificates of compliance for dry storage of spent fuel. Prior to her current assignment, Kris worked in the Licensing Branch of DSFM and in the former Division of Waste Management and Environmental Protection on waste management and decommissioning of power reactor, research and test reactor, and materials sites. Don Shaw Don Shaw spent 19 years with Constellation Energy, assigned to positions involving Part 50 licensing, Part 50 re-licensing, system engineering, and maintenance. More recently,
