Entergy Operations, Inc. by this letter is submitting a modification to the proposed amendment to the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) Operating License transmitted to the NRC via Reference 1. This letter modifies the l;                wording of the requested change to Limiting Condition for Operation 3.3.2 l                  ACTION    b.-
The wording of the ACTION b proposed in Reference 1 is justified by the analysis of References 1, 2, 3, and 4.              However, subsequent discussions with the NRC revealed that raview and approval of the change would be expedited by modifying the proposed wording to correspond with the example ACTION requirement provided in Reference 2.

The proposed wording is more teatrictive than justified by the analysis of References 1, 2, 3, and 4 and corresponds with the example ACTION requirement provided in Reference 2. This change is bounded by the original justification providod and does not affect the No Significant llazards Consideration presented in Referenen i for the proposed Techn.ical Specification changes.
This modificat. ion to the wording requested in Reference 1 has been reviewed and accepted by the Plant Safety Review Committee.
