Gentlemen:
By the referenced letter, Entergy Operations, Inc. applied for amendment of Facility Operating License No. NPF-29, Appendix A-Technical Specifications (TS) for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS). The proposed amendment was submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90 and requested NRC approval of changes to the GGNS TS required to irnplement the Boiling Water Reactor Owners Group Enhanced Option I-A, Reactor Stability Long-Term Solution. By this submittal, we are providing in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, a supplement to the original I
amendment request.
f The proposed amendment includes revisions to TS 3.4.1, " Recirculation Loops l
Operating". Technical Specification 3.4.1, CONDITION B should read "No j-recirculation loops in operation" rather than "No recirculation loops in operation in 0
MODE 2" as it currently does in the original request. This change was inadvertently omitted from the original proposed amendment request. The proposed wording in the BASES for TS 3.4.1 is correct as previously marked-up and transmitted in the referenced letter. The marked-up TS page reflecting this proposed revision to TS 3.4.1 is included as Attachment 1 and replaces the previously submitted marked-up TS page in its entirety.
