The Licensee moves that the time within which it may respond to the "Joint Motion of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and New England Coalition on Nuclear (Pollution] for Order Staying the Effectiveness, etc.",

nominally filed by the commonwealth of Massachusetts and NECNP on June 13, 1988, be enlarged from June 28, 1988 throuch July 7, 1988.

In support of this motion, the licensee says as follows:

1. This request is occasioned by certain failures of the service of the Joint Motion to nave reached the licensee in timely fashion, the causes for which have been determined, but to prevent a repetition of which the parties have agreed amongst themselves on procedures to be employed in the future, hg063gbO [

2. Allowance of this motion has been assented to by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and NECNP. j

3. Allowance of this motion has been assented to by the NRC Staff, upon the assumption that its allowance of this motion will cause the time within which the staff may reply to the Joint Motion to be enlarged to July 12, 1988.
