Enclosed is a table (ADAMS Accession No. ML051930012) which includes NRC staff first-round comments on portions of NEI 04-01. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) plans to issue additional first-round comment letters on NEI 04-01, Revision D, with the goal of issuing a complete set of first-round comments by the end of June 2005. Each comment has been numbered such that the NRC can track its resolution. The comments have been segregated into either comments the staff believes are needed to make the guidance reflective of NRC regulations and guidance or suggested changes to improve the guidance.
