From February 18 through February 22, 2013, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will perform an inspection of the independent spent fuel storage installation Dry Run activities at the Catawba Nuclear Station (NRC Inspection Procedures (IPs) 60854, 60856, and 60857). | |||
Experience has shown that this inspection is resource-intensive both for the NRC inspectors and your staff. In order to minimize the impact to your on-site resources and to ensure a productive inspection, we have enclosed a request for documents needed for this inspection. | |||
These documents identify the information which the inspectors will need upon arrival at the site. | |||
It is important that all of these documents are up-to-date and complete in order to minimize the number of additional documents requested during the preparation and/or the onsite portions of the inspection. | |||
